    KLEPCYS MARS BLACK

Developed by Jean-François Mojon with no less than two patents, the avant-garde design and innovative mechanical system of the Klepcys Moon and Klepcys Mars make these timepieces stand out. The first innovation comes with the linear display of time, made possible by the timepiece’s one-of-a-kind movement. This movement governs the speed of the wheels pushing the retrograde hours, minutes, and seconds as well as the unusually-shaped hour hand. Every 12 hours, the hour hand glides a full 180°, distinguishing day-time from night-time in the process. As time passes, the hour hand always remains perfectly aligned with the two concentric disks displaying minutes and seconds.
The second innovative aspect of these timepieces is the retrograde date display, placed between 12 and 3 o’clock on the dial. The date is indicated by a rotating jumping cube of tens that slides changes according to the current date. Lastly, the eye-catching 3D spherical moon-phase with its black cover gradually hides and reveals the moon according to its position in relation to Earth. The Klepcys Mars has the same 3D-designed miniature of Mars, rotating a full Martian day every 24 hours, 37 minutes, and 22 seconds.

KLEPCYS SKELETON CHRONOGRAPH DARK & RED

Reinterpreting the classic functions of a watch is built into CYRUS’ DNA. Strikingly different from conventional chronographs, the Klepcys Chronograph features its very own distinct display on which the center sweeping second, 30-minute, and 12-hour counters take the spotlight on the vertical axis of the dial. This layout allows the main time to sit off-center at 3 o’clock, and a large date window fills the remaining space on the dial at 9 o’clock. This aesthetic endows optimal legibility on all time-telling functions. As for setting the chronograph, the execution of this timepiece makes it a quick and user-friendly experience, thanks to simple push-buttons on one of the brand’s design signatures, its two crowns. Pressure on the pusher in the crown at 3 o'clock activates the start/stop while the reset is possible through the pusher at 9 o'clock. The positions of the Klepcys Chronograph pushers are closer to those of a professional stop-watch, and therefore offer a more natural handle than more traditional chronographs.
Framed by a 26-component, cushion-shaped case, the beating heart of the Klepcys Chronograph is the self-winding movement, calibre CYR314, offering 48-hour power reserve. REFERENCE NO. - 539.504.DDR.A

    KLEPCYS SOLO TEMPO

Time-only in its function, the Klepcys Solo Tempo boasts a sophisticated and contemporary aesthetics. By incorporating all the distinctive design DNA of the CYRUS GENEVE, this timepiece offers a cushion-shaped case, the two symmetrically opposed crowns at 3 and 9 o’clock, as well as an exquisitely designed 3D dial.
Framed by a transparent smoked disc, the Solo Tempo’s original black lacquered, open-worked dial accentuates the display of time. This also allows this timepiece’s owner to admire a portion of the self-winding movement while reading the time. Its casual-chic look makes the Klepcys Solo Tempo the perfect timepiece for both casual and formal settings.

    KLEPCYS VERTICAL SKELETON TOURBILLON

For the first time in history, CYRUS has placed a tourbillon in the middle of the dial on a vertical axis in a wristwatch. By doing so, this breaks the age-old rule that finds the tourbillon normally on its horizontal axis at 6 o’clock on the dial. This break from tradition wasn’t done simply for aesthetics. Studies by our team indicate that the 90° angle of the tourbillon better combats the effects of gravity on the movement over the course of normal daily wear. At this angle, the cage containing the entire regulating mechanism rotates on itself to offset the negative effects gravity has on the balance wheel more effectively. Ultimately, the vertical position has a great impact on the overall performance of the watch.
The 3-D architecture of the dial, also in a skeletonized version, is enhanced by the arch of the vertical bridge. Inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci’s design principles, the bridge blends harmoniously with the symmetrical lines of the timepiece and accentuates the central tourbillon. This provides easy access to admire the tourbillon as it completes a full rotation every minute. The in-house manufactured manual-wind movement houses two barrels, offering a power reverse of more than 4 days.

    KLEPCYS VERTICAL SKELETON TOURBILLON SAPPHIRE

Cyrus Genève celebrates its 10th anniversary with a limited series of 10 pieces of the KLEPCYS VERTICAL SKELETON TOURBILLON SAPPHIRE. Designed by master-watchmaker Jean-François Mojon, the brilliant creative mind behind all Cyrus creations, the first edition of the Klepcys Vertical Tourbillon was released in 2018 and showcases an outstandingly innovative manual winding movement driving the watch. The tourbillon cage, placed in the middle of the dial for the first time, is set on a vertical axis at a 90° angle. Painstaking studies by the technical team at CYRUS revealed that this angle ensures the tourbillon cage is almost always in vertical position when on the wrist, thereby optimising its performance in precision.
To further enhance the beauty of this surprising mechanism, Cyrus Genève chooses a unique 3-D open-worked architecture for its dial and adopts, for the first time, a transparent sapphire crystal case which allows a complete view of the movement from all angles and let watch enthustiasts and collectors appreciate all its stunning details. Composed of a total of 29 parts, the style of the 44 mm case, excluding the functional   twin-crowns, has been redesigned to hide a maximum of fasteners, screws and steel elements. Some recessed edges have been slightly rounded to make machining and polishing possible without compromising on design and the strong character of this watch.

    LAB 02

The LAB 02 is a perfect example of aesthetic perfection and extraordinary craftsmanship. The highly complicated manual movement stretches the imagination as well as the physical constraints of watchmaking. In its creation, CORUM’s development team’s members challenged themselves to offer not only a flying tourbillon but also a flying gear train of sorts. The question they posed themselves: “What if the movement doesn’t have bridges?” They then tirelessly pursued their unconventional quest to make it a reality.
